Wilma A. Kure, 99, Wea Community, Bucyrus, KS. died Nov. 28, 2011. Wilma was born on Jan. 2, 1912 to Joseph and Johanna Dragosh in KCK. She married Anthony Kure on June 5, 1937 and the family moved to the Wea community in 1947. Wilma was very involved in parish activities throughout her life, especially the Altar Society, choir and Queen's Quilters. She was the cook at QHR School from 1947 until the school closed in 1970 and served as church sacristan until her retirement at age 83. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 7 siblings, son-in-law, one grandson and one great-grandson. Survivors include daughter, Darlene Mansfield, Shawnee, son, Ken Kure and wife Linda, Stilwell, 6 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews with a special thank you to Kenny and Mary Strausbaugh who were so good to her with love, kindness and care for many years. Memorials can be made to Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in memory of Wilma.
