Willis H. Clark, of Vassar, Kansas, died at Peterson’s Nursing Home in Osage City, Kansas. Cremation is planned. Graveside services for family will be held at Highland Cemetery in Ottawa, Kansas. Willis was born on Thursday, February 23, 1928, in Liberty, Nebraska, the son of Henry Garfield and Iva Lucille (Hitchcock) Clark. He has been a resident of Osage City, Kansas since 2004, moving from Vassar, Kansas. Willis attended schools in Barneston, Nebraska. He worked thirty-five years as a truck driver for various employers, including eighteen years for Graves Truck Line, retiring the spring of 1990. He was a member of Teamsters Local #41. Willis was united in marriage with Bonita Bonnie Moser February 26, 1947, at Seneca, Kansas. She survives of their home. Also surviving are sons, Michael Clark of Ottawa, Kansas, and Mark Clark and wife Sheryl of Osawatomie, Kansas; daughters, Sandra Scarlett and husband John of Wellsville, Kansas, Dee Ann Hobelman of Auburn, Kansas, Kay Regan and husband Rob of Ottawa, Kansas, and Nancy Chase and husband Doug of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and twelve grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Iva Clark; brother, Walter Clark; sisters, Emma Sunderland and Myrtle Orr; and grandson, Nason Hobelman.
