Willie Leon Crook, 60, of Williamsburg, Kansas passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Ransom Memorial Hospital.Cremation is planned by Dengel Son Mortuary; with no services at this time.Leon was born on Thursday, June 25, 1953, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Willie Earl and Marjorie (Marrow) Crook.He lived in Williamsburg for the past thirty years, moving from Erick, Oklahoma.He attended Washington High School, Kansas City, Kansas, with the class of 1971.On August 2, 1971 Leon was united in marriage with Anita Parker in Miami, Oklahoma. She survives of their home.Survivors also include his four children, Rebecca Kay and husband Jeffery of Ashland, Kansas; Rachel Endsley and husband Alford of Tonganoxie; Leah Crook of Lawrence; and Marjorie Crook of Wichita; four grandchildren, Quade, Caylie, Zane and Blake; and two brothers, Michael Crook of Williamsburg and Roy Crook and wife Katherine of Erick, Oklahoma.He was preceded in death by his son, Willie L. Crook, Jr.; his parents; and brother, Richard Crook.Leon worked for Source Logistics, as a truck driver, for eight years.The family suggests memorial contributions to Willie Leon Crook Memorial Fund c/o Dengel Son Mortuary, 235 S.
