William Stringham

William "Bill" George Stringham, 36, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2010 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. He was born March 8, 1973 to James and Laverne Prothe Stringham in Paola, Kansas. He graduated from Paola High School in 1991 and went on to attend Johnson County Community College and the University of Kansas. Bill was currently employed as a landscaper. He enjoyed being outdoors, traveling, sports, sailing and being on the water; he also collected lighthouses and loved animals, especially his dog Giuseppe. He is survived by his parents; Jim and Laverne Stringham of Paola, Kansas; three sisters, Sheryl Giebler of Louisburg, Kansas; Brenda Janzen of Oakley, Kansas; and Shelli Barnes of Paola, Kansas; two brothers, James "Rob" Stringham and Stephen Stringham, both of Paola, Kansas; and many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the KU Medical Center Transplant Department in care of the funeral home.
