William L. Farmer, III, age 52, of Paola, Kansas passed away February 17, 2018 at Olathe Medical Center. William is survived by his daughters, Amanda McDaneld and KayLee Farmer; sons William Lee Farmer IV and Kurtis Farmer; brother Carl Walker; and sister MyLinda Richards; grandchildren Kerrigan, Grayson, and Damian, and a grandson due in July. Loss is not something we are often prepared for, especially the loss of someone as amazing as Bill. He was always willing to cook you a meal, provide you with food to take home, lend you a place to lay your head, or even just sit on the couch and relax for a while. He knew your favorite meal, how to make you laugh, and how to make you roll your eyes. He was always there to support his children, no matter what journey they went on in life, from sports, to starting families, he was a constant supporter no matter where the journey took him. He could be seen sitting in the school bleachers cheering on his favorite athlete, blowing bubbles with his grandchildren, and just enjoying life with his family. The world lost someone amazing, a father, a grandfather, and an ear to listen. A Go Fund Me account has been established at https://www.gofundme.com/bill-farmer-memorial. The funds collected from this are going to assist the family in funeral and hospital expenses. The family will have a Celebration of Life Service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Paola Eagles, 26433 Eagle Dr., Paola, KS. Family and friends are encouraged to post their condolences and memories on William's Tribute Wall.
