William D. "Bill" Beal

William D. “Bill” Beal, age 69, of Bellbrook, Ohio, died Monday, July 23, 2012, at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. He was born on Saturday, December 26, 1942, in Ottawa, Kansas, the son of Walter Evered and Susie Elfrieda (Wilber) Beal. From a young age he was raised by his step mother Doris (Ramsey) Beal. Bill grew up in Lane, Kansas, and from 1960 to 1990 he lived in various locations throughout the United States before moving to Bellbrook, Ohio in 1990. Bill graduated from Lane High School as Valedictorian, attended Kansas University, Data Processing Technical School at the top of his class and Army National Guard Officer Candidate School. For 16 years Bill was the Vice President and IT Manager for the Liberty Savings Bank. Bill served from May 1966 until July 1968 in the Army National Guard attaining the rank of Sergeant E5. Bill was one of the founders and treasurers of AWARE (All Warrenville Area Recycling Effort). He also served as local Club President and Race Director for Go-Karting. In 1963 Bill was united in marriage with Barbara for thirty-four years. He is survived by his: Son – Brian Beal of Aurora, Illinois Son – Brandon Beal and wife Jeri of Dayton, Ohio Grandchildren – Kristine, Andrew, Ethan and Ella Beal Sister – Doris Arlene Butts of Quenemo, Kansas He is preceded in death by his: Parents – Walter and Susie Beal Step-Mother - Doris (Ramsey) Beal Grandparents – Walter & Maude Beal Grandparents – Fredrick & Mabel Wilber SERVICES: Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012, at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, Kansas.
