William Blane Roberts

William Blane Roberts, age 44, of Ottawa, Kan., died Tuesday, October 7, 2003, at his home. He was the son of the late Walter Roberts and the late Margaret (Barbee) Roberts. Blane grew up in the Independence, Missouri area. He later lived in Olathe, Osawatomie, and in 1992 moved to Ottawa. Blane attended schools in Independence, Missouri and also received education while serving in the Job Corps. Blane worked two years as a supervisor for Tompkins Industries in Olathe, Kansas. He also worked for K & W Underground Cable for several years. On March 18, 1989, Blane was united in marriage with Anita Louise Tollett at Olathe, Kansas. She survives of their home. SERVICES: Memorial services will be held from Cherry Street Wesleyan Church 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 12, 2003. OFFICIATING CLERGY: Pastor Scott Dickinson.
