Wetona Niesz

Toni Niesz, age 64, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014. She was born in Kansas City, Kansas on October 7, 1949 to Atwell Beatty, Sr. and Mae Jeannie Roberts. She grew up and attended high school in the Kansas City area. She was united in marriage to Kenneth J. Niesz on July 13, 1968; they were married several years and were the proud parents of three children Tammy, Bill and Terry before divorcing in 2003. She had various employments such as Gibson, Dollar General Store, Dr Walmann, Bills Dollar Store, JCPenney Outlet & Big Lots. She retired in 2011 to care for her mother and adopted daughter Samaria. Toni was a very loving grandma always looking forward to spending time with her grandchildren. She loved her flowers and plants. She loved playing card games and board games with family and friends. She enjoyed caring for her pets. She had a strong interest in cars and car shows. She enjoyed her grandchildren"s many activities attending football, baseball, basketball & motocross events. Toni enjoyed visiting with friends and close family friends. Toni was preceded in death by her father Atwell Beatty, Sr., mother Mae Jeannie LaMae and stepfather Robert LaMae, Sr., sister Edith Abernathy, brother Bobby LaMae and infant son Terry Niesz. She is survived by her son Kenneth "Bill" Niesz (Angie) of Lincoln, Nebraska, daughter Tammy Butler (Bill) of Osawatomie, Kansas, adopted daughter Samaria H. Niesz of the home, four grandsons Riley, Logan, Billy Jr. and Caleb and two brothers Pete Beatty of Anchorage, Alaska and George LaMae of Lansing, Kansas. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sam Niesz Education Fund or Miami County Humane Society.
