Wayne Arnold

Wayne Arnold, age 77, of Stover, MO, died early Thursday morning, Nov. 5, 2009 at Golden Living Center in Spring Hill, KS. He was born July 9, 1932 in Freeman, MO to Wilbur C. Arnold and Leota Staley. He graduated from Raymore High School. Wayne formerly lived in the rural Louisburg area. He was a carpenter. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting & fishing. He raced motorcycles in his younger days. Wayne also enjoyed being with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Earl Arnold, a nephew, Curt Arnold and a granddaughter, Gracie Arnold. Survivors include 2 sons, Jeff and wife Suzanne of Spring Hill, KS; Kyle and wife Elizabeth of Lexington, MO; a daughter, Tonya Dozier and husband Tim of Dunbar, NE; three grandsons, Brad & Brent Arnold of Lawrence, KS; Dalton Dozier, of Dunbar, NE; two granddaughters, Kayla Dozier of Dunbar, NE; Keairah Arnold, Lexington, MO; three brothers, Jerry Arnold of Stover, MO; Milt Arnold of Edwardsville, KS; Harold Arnold & wife Cathy of Lee"s Summit, MO; a sister, Cathy O"Hara of Des Moines, IA; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009 from 9:30am to 11:00am with the service at 11:00am at Penwell- Gabel Funeral Home, Louisburg, KS. Burial will be in the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, MO. Contributions may be given to the St. Lukes Hospice.
