Warren Earl Noe, 82, died December 8, 2005 of natural causes at his home in Pomona, Kansas. Mr. Noe was a lifelong resident of Franklin County, and had lived in Pomona since 1975. He was born at Williamsburg to Earl Hobart and Mary Elizabeth (Decker Kennard) Noe on September 24, 1923. Warren was married to Carol Higdon of Richmond in 1950. They were later divorced. Warren married Rose Bolton and she preceded in death. Warren and Bernice Turley Burris were married in November, 1975. She preceded him in death in October, 1998. Warren is survived by two daughters. Vicky Overman and her husband, Brian of Ottawa, KS; and Lyn Noe of Hurst, TX; two nieces, Jackee Young and her husband, Roy of Melvern, KS; and Pam Spencer of Los Angeles, CA; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Warren was preceded in death by his parents, his twin sister, Willa Spencer and another sister, Louise Myers; and his son John Noe. Warren spent most of his working years as a truck driver for Richmond Truck Line, Bennett Creamery, Fogle Truck Line, and Killough Construction Company. Warren also hauled gravel with his own dump truck. Warren enjoyed traveling, fishing, refinishing furniture and visiting with his friends at the Dari Bar in Pomona. The little ones in the family especially enjoyed sitting on Uncle Warren's lap, and he was happy to have them. They seemed to have a special rapport. Mr. Noe was cremated. Private family services will be held at a later date. The family requests memorials to the Franklin County Diabetes Association in care Dengel Mortuary.
