Waneta May Minkler

Waneta grew up and lived in Kincaid, Kansas. Soon after her marriage they lived a short time in Smith County, Kansas before moving in April 1937 to the plains of Colorado east of Colorado Springs, where they lived almost forty years. In 1972, they left the farm to live in Florence, Colorado until moving in November 1975 to the Richter Community, west of Ottawa, Kansas. In 2002, they sold their farm and moved to Topeka, Kansas. Waneta graduated from Kincaid High School in Kincaid, Kansas with the class of 1935. Waneta was a homemaker. Waneta was a member of H.O.A. Club in Colorado. On October 3, 1936, Waneta was united in marriage with Eldon E. Minkler at Iola, Kansas. He survives of their home. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from Dengel & Son Mortuary 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2004. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Minkler after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at Dengel & Son Mortuary to service hour, where the family will meet with friends 7 to 8:00 Tuesday evening.
