Wanda Paulsen

Wanda Faye Paulsen, age 68, passed away November 15, 2016 surrounded by family at Olathe Hospice House. Wanda was born June 24, 1948 in Kansas City, KS to James Kenneth and Virginia Faye Murphy Wright. She attended and graduated from Turner High School in 1966. On December 29, 1969 she was united in marriage to Robert Earl Paulsen in Miami Oklahoma. Together they made their home in the Kansas City area until moving to the Paola area in 1981, where she worked for different retail businesses in the data entry department. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Perry Cay Wright and James Kenneth Wright II. Wanda is survived by her husband Robert E. Paulsen Sr.; son Robert "Bobby" Earl Paulsen Jr. (Wendy); daughter Kimberly "Kimey" Marie Miller (Cory); sisters Cindy Osburn and Pamela Wiyninger; and six grandchildren Tony Newman, Megan Paulsen, Tucker Cross, Christi McCoy, Josie McCoy and Abigail "Abby" Cross. Memorials contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Mid-America Chapter, Kansas City, MO in care of the funeral home.
