Wanda C. Rictor

Wanda C. Rictor, age 76, of Pomona, Kansas, passed away at her home Tuesday, November 26, 2019. The family will meet with friends from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa, Kansas. A private family inurnment will be held later at Woodlawn Cemetery, Pomona, Kansas. Wanda was born May 9, 1943 in Maywood, California, the daughter of Marvin and Oma (Bankston) Moore. She lived in Texas moving in the 1980’s to the Franklin County area, making her home in Pomona. Wanda was united in marriage to Jack Rictor in 1958 in Yuma, Arizona. He survives of the home. Other survivors include her two sons, Darren Rictor of Pomona and Jess Rictor and wife Terri of Virginia Beach, Virginia; sister, Linda Vogh and husband Lloyd of Pomona; six grandchildren, Chris Rictor, Ben Rictor, Riley Rictor, Cooper Rictor and wife Neila, Cody Rictor, and Justin Rictor; and three great grandchildren, Daryn, Isabelle and Cameron Rictor. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Max Moore and Jackie Moore; and sister, Sybil Miller. Wanda was employed for nearly 30 years as an assembler and in production for Honeywell in Lenexa. She started with King Radio in Ottawa. She was a member of the Ottawa Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post 5901 Auxiliary. Wanda loved spending time with her family, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed quilting, reading, playing cards and fishing. She will be greatly missed.
