Vivian Swearingen

Vivian D. Swearingen age 68 of Hillsdale, Kansas, passed away Monday at the St. Lukes South Hospital. (Cremation) No services are planned. Vivian was born, January 13, 1940, in Spring Hill, Kansas, to Charles and Thelma Bibens McMahan. As a young woman she worked for the Kirsh Curtain Manufacturing in Lenexa and the Highline Plastic Company of Olathe. She moved to Hillsdale from Rosedale, Kansas in 1957, and was united in marriage to Clarence Beene in 1957, which ended in divorce in 1978. She later married George Swearingen on Sept.3,1981, in Paola Kansas. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, going to the casinos, taking small trips to Missouri and Oklahoma. Vivian was always there to give a helping hand to those who needed it. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son David Eugene Beene. Survivors are her husband George of the home, son Charles Beene, of Spring Hill, son Ryan Swearingen and wife Jesyka of Paola, Kansas, granddaughter Jenah Swearingen, brothers Jr. and Don McMahan of Osawatomie, Kansas, and Sister Nora Bagley of , Missouri.
