Vivian C. Wilson

Vivian Wilson, age 94, of Paola, passed away November 19, 2016 at Miami County Medical Center. Vivian was born in Drexel, Missouri on June 30, 1922 to Jesse and Mabel Land Wiseman. On November 26, 1941 Vivian was united in marriage to LaVern Wilson in Fontana, Kansas. Vivian was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in the Block Community, where she was active with the ladies" aid. She had a special love for her family, she enjoyed quilting and was an avid reader. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her son Loren Wilson (Beverly) of Kansas City, MO; daughters Vernele Pipes of Lawrence, KS and Venita Prothe (Arlin) of Paola, KS; 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren and a host of friends.
