RESIDENCE HISTORY: Viola grew up in Osage County, moving to Topeka at the time of her marriage, returning to Osage County in 1940. They moved to a farm south of Ottawa in 1959 and into town in 1967. She had been a Chandler, Arrizona resident since 1994. EDUCATION: Viola attended Vassar Grade School and graduated from Lyndon High School with the class of 1932. OCCUPATION: Viola was a homemaker and helped her husband on their farm. MEMBERSHIPS: Viola was a fifty-year member of Vassar United Methodist Church. For a few years, she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and also Faith Bible Church, until it closed, and then attended Ottawa Bible Church, all of Ottawa. MARRIAGE: On October 1, 1932, Viola was united in marriage with Raymond Pearson at Vassar, Kansas. He preceded her in death on June 22, 1990. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from Dengel & Son Mortuary ( * ). OFFICIATING CLERGY: Pastor Larry Carrier. IN STATE: Mrs. Pearson will lie in state after ( * ) at Dengel & Son Mortuary to service hour, where the family will meet with friends ( * ). CEMETERY: Union Cemetery, Osage City, Kansas.
