Venus S. Redman, age 49 of Wellsville, Kansas, died Saturday, March 2, 2013. She was born on Friday, July 26, 1963, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Mark and Lucy (McWilliams) Fisher. Venus has lived in Wellsville since 2000, moving from Haughton, Louisiana. She was a lifelong homemaker. She is survived by: Parents – Lucy and William Hewitt of Wellsville, Kansas Son – James Schopp of Baldwin City, Kansas Son – Robert Schopp and his wife Katy of Shreveport, Louisiana Son – Jeffery Fisher and his wife Charity of Olathe, Kansas Daughter – Jennifer Brown of Wellington, Missouri Daughter – Rachael Redman of Wellsville, Kansas Sister – Kelly Reifeiss of Ottawa, Kansas Sister – Satana Fisher of Spring Hill, Kansas Sister – Deanna Woods of Wichita, Kansas Brother – William Hewitt, II of Wellsville, Kansas Nine grandchildren She is preceded in death by her: Father – Mark Fisher SERVICES: Cremation is planned. Private family service will be held at a later date.
