Velma Emaline (Fields) Leabo, age 65, of Quenemo, Kan., died Tuesday, October 5, 2004, at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kan. . She was the daughter of the late Jessie Fields and Gertrude (Sellens) Fields-Shaw. She is survived by her One Daughter, Stephany Priddy of Quenemo, Kan. Two Sons, Clement Murlin Leabo, Jr. of Quenemo, Kan. Robert Leabo of Quenemo, Kan. One Sister, Helen Watts of Shell Knob, Mo. When she was a child, she moved with her family to Quenemo. Velma graduated from Quenemo High School with the class of 1957. She worked at H.D. Lee in Ottawa during the 1960`s; in Civil Service, as a KP Supervisor, at Fort Riley; as a sales representative for Richlawn Turf Farms of Parker, Colorado; and cooked at the L & L Restaurant and the Country Club, both of Ottawa. She was a member of Free Methodist Church in Junction City, Kansas, and attended Bible Baptist Church of Ottawa. On November 2, 1958, Velma was united in marriage with Clement Murlin Leabo at Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on September 18, 1994. SERVICES: Graveside services and inurnment will be held at 10:00 a.m., (*). OFFICIATING CLERGY: Pastor Doug Jenkins. IN STATE: Mrs. Leabo will be cremated. CEMETERY: Inurnment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Pomona, Kansas. MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorials to Franklin County Cancer Foundation, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S.
