Tyler LaMont Scott, age 26, of Kansas City, Missouri, formerly of Osawatomie, passed away May 4, 2016 at Liberty Memorial Hospital, Liberty, Missouri. Tyler was the youngest of three children born to Larry and Sonja (Belshe) Scott. He was born October 17, 1989 at Kansas City, Kansas. Tyler grew up in Osawatomie and graduated from Osawatomie High School with the Class of 2008. He worked at the YMCA as a life guard during his high school years. He attended Johnson County Community College. Tyler loved the outdoors. He enjoyed outings to the lake, swimming, taking walks, country cruising, listening to music, grilling out, and hanging out with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Gloria and Lamont Weaver, step-father Thomas Hannah, Sr., step-brothers Thomas Hannah, Jr., and Michael Hannah, and a dear friend Beverly Devin. He is survived by his sister Andrea "Shelly" Scott-Jensen (Joel) of Kansas City, MO; his brother Larry Scott (Pamela) of Paola; other siblings include Michael Scott (Irma) and Angela Calvillo (Dino) all of Mesa, Arizona; nieces and nephews Blake, Kaleigh, Dakodah, Coleman, and Malia Scott, Ryan and Rowen Jensen, Alexis, Tori, and Zach Calvillo, and Daniel, Jason, and Jacob Scott; his aunt and uncle Joan and Duane Moraine of Newton, Kansas; his step-mother Cheri Scott of Bonner Springs, Kansas and her son Curry; and many other relatives and friends.
