Travis Ray Kern age 25 of Stockton, MO. formally of Paola, Osawatomie area passed away March 11, at his home in Stockton. Services will be Graveside Sat March 14 at 10:30 AM at the Scotts Valley Cemetery in rural Miami County, visitation will be 9 to 10:30 AM Saturday Penwell-Gabel Paola Chapel. Travis was born August 3, 1983 in Paola Kansas to David and Kathy Rene" Kellogg Kern He attended Osawatomie High School and later enrolled in the Missouri Welding Institute and received his certification. He moved to Stockton in 2007. Before moving he worked for HR Lawn Services and Andy Jessip Concrete Foundation Company. Travis enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, dirt bikes, music, riding the jet skis, and hanging out with his friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Edward Kellogg, and David Kern Sr., 3 uncles Jerry Swearingen, Dale Kellogg, and Joe Kellogg. Survivors are his mother, Rene" Miley and husband Dennis of Stockton, Mo.., Father David Kern Jr. of Osawatomie, Ks, sister Amy and husband Tim Reed of Centerton Arkansas, half sister Chris Christensen of Texas, step sister Kyleigh Kern of Osawatomie, Ks. step brother Josh Miley of Beagle Kansas, maternal grand parents, Helen and Norman Swearingen of Stockton, Mo., fraternal grandmother Lou Kern of Osawatomie, Ks.
