Tony, or T-Bone, as he was also known, was born on Oct. 7, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri to Theodore and Dora Lee Wilson. Tony lived his younger years growing up in Kansas City, moving to Hillsdale in 1972. He graduated from Paola High School in 1975. Tony was a very ambitious young man. Tony was a self employed roofer, working throughout the area most of his life. After hurricanes Ivan and Katrina Tony traveled to Louisiana and Mississippi to help assist with the rebuilding of the areas. His hobbies included: playing his guitar, fishing, collecting antiques, raising his pet pigs, growing flowers, watching Wheel of Fortune and just being outdoors. He especially enjoyed spending time with his boys, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his father, Ted Wilson, his daughter, Kalei Wilson and niece, Stephanie Querry. Survivors include mother, Dora Lee Wilson of Hillsdale, seven sons, Josh, Jordan, Tony, Tanner, Tucker, Mitch and Toby, stepson, Mikie Russell. Two sisters, Terry DeGrande, husband Carl of Paola, and Robbin Rueckert of Hillsdale. Two brothers, Gregg Wilson, Wife Staci, and Nick Wilson both of Hillsdale. Tony also leaves a grandson, Tyler Wilson, and many nieces and nephews. Tony will be sadly missed by all. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to the Tony Wilson Memorial.
