Tommy P. Dunlap

Tommy P. Dunlap, 66, of Ottawa, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Olathe Medical Center. Family will meet with friends from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Dengel & Son Mortuary. Private inurnment Highland Cemetery, Ottawa. Tommy was born September 25, 1951, in Mundy, Texas, the son of Herbert Reed and Dorothy Ann (Wyatt) Dunlap. He grew up in Texas moving in 1970 to Ottawa. He graduated from Coronado High School, Plainview, Texas, with the class of 1966. Survivors include his two sons, Robert Dunlap of Texas and Christopher Dunlap of Wyoming; and four siblings, Helen Sheler and husband Don, Ethel Brady and Larry Berry, Kenny Dunlap, and Roy Dunlap and wife Judy all of Ottawa. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was employed as a janitor with Shade Foods in Olathe. Tommy loved his dogs, fishing, taking care of his yard and watching old westerns.
