Tom Lawrence

Tom Lawrence, age 90, of Stilwell, KS died June 9, 2014 at Louisburg Healthcare and Rehab. He was born July 1, 1923 in Adrian, Mo, the son of Samuel Thomas and Mary Etter Bradley Lawrence. He was a lifelong resident of the Stilwell area. He was united in marriage to Lorene Stuteville on July 7, 1944 at Olathe, KS. Tom retired on February 14, 1994 from Tom Lawrence Excavating. Tom worked the Kansas and Missouri area for forty plus years operating heavy equipment. He was preceded in death by his parent"s, daughter Rosie Spruytte, five brothers, Marion, Marshall, Otis, Oran and Lewis and two sisters, Lura Dean and Lorene Briggs. Survivors include his two daughters, Darlene Meis, Olathe, KS and Judy Jacobs and husband George, Stilwell, KS; sister, Margaret Stuteville, seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren The family suggests contributions to Grace Hospice.
