Tiffany Irene Maimer, 24, Paola, gained her angel wings on Monday, July 17, 2017, following a car accident. Tiffany was born to Richard & Sheri Windisch Maimer on January 26, 1993 in Overland Park, Kansas. As an elementary student, Tiffany attended Paola Preschool and Holy Trinity Catholic School; graduated from Paola High in 2011. Following high school, Tiffany graduated from Johnson County Community College earning an Associate of Liberal Arts Degree in 2013, and Wright Career College earning an Associate RN Degree in 2015. Tiffany began her career as a CNA / CMA shortly after graduation from high school with Vintage Park, Paola. She has worked at Pinnacle Ridge Long Term Care, Cedar Lake Long Term Care, Vintage Park, Louisburg & Osawatomie, and Interim Home Health. In January 2017, following the path of her dream, she began working for Promise Hospital in Overland Park, Kansas. Tiffany had a special place in her heart for babies, children and the elderly. Tiffany was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Paola, belonged to the Paola School of Dance from kindergarten through her senior year in high school, Paola High FFA and was the Green Hand Secretary her freshman year, and Paola High Cross Country her senior year where she medaled in every event and went on to the state level. Tiffany loved her family and was very close and loyal to each one. Tiffany always had a smile, loved to laugh, had a great sense of humor, and brightened any room she entered and was willing to help each and every person she met. She was a gentle, kind, caring, beautiful, full of love young lady that never knew an enemy, everyone was a friend. Tiffany cherished her friends and loved making memories with them. She loved the farm, the cows, hauling hay bales, and driving the tractor. She took the Hunter Safety class so she could legally shoot guns and hunt. She loved to fish with her uncles and cousins and her passion of fishing for crappie and walleye grew as she entered a relationship with Jim Eaker. Tiffany loved the outdoors, helping in the garden, mowing the grass and planting flowers. Tiffany was preceded in death by her grandparents, Kenneth Windisch, Florentine and Irene Maimer and her Uncle John Windisch. Tiffany is survived by her parents, her only sibling Trudie, grandma Mary Windisch, the love of her life Jim Eaker and his daughter Chloe Gail, godson Keeton Blackman, many aunts, uncles, cousins and a multitude of friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Maimer Nursing Scholarship Fund, Miami County Cancer Foundation or Alzheimer’s Association.
