Thomas Schuman

Thomas Bradley Schuman age 56 of Paola passed away at his home on April 11, 2011. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to KC Central SDA Church for Evangelism. Brad as he is known was born on May 1, 1954 in Clinton, Missouri to Theodore and Aletrice Briggs Schuman. He graduated from Sunnydale Academy in Centralia, Missouri in 1972 and attended Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska. He enlisted in the United States Airforce and served 2 years. Brad enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, watching Star Wars, Dinatopia Movies, playing war games with family and friends, being very active in his church evangelism and going to India with church members. He was baptized in the church when he was a junior in high school and was an Elder in the KC Central SDA Church in Kansas City. On November 10, 1991 he was united in marriage to Mary Jean Royse, and they made their home in Paola. He was employed as a computer programmer for the US Department of Agriculture for over 20 years. Survivors are his wife Mary Jean Schuman of Paola, daughters, Barbara Dryden and husband Rod of Ottawa, Angela Hale and husband Larry of Independence, MO., Brenda Eitel and husband Jeff of Papillion Neb., Belinda McClelland and husband Tristan of Osawatomie, Brenna Mcghee and husband Travis of Olathe, parents Theodore of Missouri, and his mother Aletrice and husband Don Downing of Grandview MO., and 15 grandchildren, sisters Jennifer, Kim, Pam, Donita and brothers Jim and Greg. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
