Thomas E. "Tom" Barrigan

Thomas Edward Barrigan, age 59, of Wellsville, Kansas, died Thursday, June 2, 2011, at North Kansas City Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on Friday, May 30, 1952, in Hardin, Montana, the son of James Edward and Dorothy Agnes (McDowell) Barrigan. He was a resident of the Franklin County, Kansas area the past nineteen years, moving from Marysville, Washington. Thomas graduated from Billings (Montana) High School with the class of 1970. He was in the roofing business forty years. He was presently employed as a roofer with Tremco Roofing, a commercial roofing company. In 1972, Thomas was united in marriage with Cheryl K. Morse in Billings, Montana. They were later divorced. On May 30, 1983, Thomas was united in marriage with Virginia Vogt in Spokane, Washington. They were later divorced. He is survived by his: Son-Patrick Barrigan and his wife, Lydia, of Tucson, Arizona Son-Thomas Barrigan and his wife, Carrie, of Glasgow, Montana Daughter-Tracy Gillis and her husband, Dan, of Billings, Montana Sister-Janie Fiehler and her husband, Bob, of Wellsville, Kansas Sister-Merna Kincaid of Hardin, Montana Brother-James Barrigan of Huntley, Montana Sister-Jean Duarte and husband, Nacho, of Springfield, Missouri Grandchildren-(5) Mikel, Dillon, Breanna, Kalle, Jerrica Nephews-(3) Stewart Kincaid, Greg Barrigan, Charlie Fiehler He is preceded in death by: Parents-James Edward and Dorothy Agnes Barrigan SERVICES: Memorial funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa, Kansas at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2011. IN STATE: Mr. Barrigan has been cremated. CEMETERY: Woodlawn Cemetery in Pomona, Kansas.
