Therese Eileen Miller, age 66, of rural Greeley, Kansas, died March 3, 2013 at her home. Therese was born September 24, 1946 at Kansas City, Missouri. She was the daughter of Virgil Vernon and Eileen Elizabeth (Baker) Phillips. She graduated from Raytown South High School, Raytown, Missouri in 1965 and then attended Kansas City Community College. Therese was united in marriage to Richard Lee "Dick" Miller on September 7, 1968 in Raytown, Missouri. They became the parents of one son Jeffrey John Miller. Therese was a homemaker. She loved quilting and became well-known in her community as well as surrounding communities for her profound quilting abilities. She was a member of the St. Philip Neri Church, Osawatomie, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Dick of the home; her son Jeff and his wife Wendy of rural Paola; two grandsons Jacob and Dylan; other relatives and friends. To honor Therese"s unselfish wishes, her body was bequeathed to the University of Kansas School of Medicine for education and research to insure continued quality health care for future generations. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the St. Philip Neri Building Fund sent in care of Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 605 O"Neal Ave., P. O.
