Theodore H. Robinson

Theodore "Ted" Harry Robinson, age 68, of Clay Center, Kansas passed away May 23, 2017 at Via Christi Hospital. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. with rosary at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Dengel & Son Mortuary, 305 N. Pearl St., Paola, KS. Funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 501 E. Chippewa St., Paola, KS. Burial is at the Holy Cross Cemetery. Following the burial a meal will be provided at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 514 Parker Ave, Osawatomie, KS. Ted was born September 12, 1948, in Paola, Kansas, to Bradley and Gladys Robinson. Ted attended Osawatomie schools. He was united in marriage on August 1, 1969 to Betty A. Whitaker in Paola, Kansas. He worked at Osawatomie State Hospital for over 17 years, then he worked at Wal-Mart from 1998 to 2016 in Junction City, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Betty, of the home; children, Michelle Robinson, Daniel Robinson, Michael Robinson (Shelly), and Rebecca Nelson (Shannon); 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Ted enjoyed woodworking, working on cars and doing crossword puzzles. He liked being outdoors and enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren.
