Terry Micheal Ellsworth

Terry Micheal Ellsworth, 72, of Garnett, Kansas, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023, at St. Lukes Hospital in Garnett, Kansas.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Terry was born Monday, October 16, 1950, in Gardner, Kansas, the son of Leroy Alvin and Ruth Ilene (Frownfelter) Ellsworth.

He was married to Deborah (Massey) Ellsworth in 1970. Together they had three children; Nathan, Sarah and Luke.

On March 1, 2008, Terry married Teresa (Lohaus) Theisman. Terry gained four step-children; Holly, Cubby, Paige and Hope.

Terry graduated from Fort Hays University and then began his career in law enforcement. He worked as a police officer in Hays, Kansas and retired from the Olathe, Kansas Police Department more than a decade later. Terry enjoyed working in maintenance and owned and operated Home Systems Service Company. Later he worked in maintenance at Grace Christian Fellowship Church. Terry finished his working career as the maintenance supervisor at the Anderson County Sheriff's Office, in Garnett, Kansas.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Ellsworth, three children, four step-children, 12 grandchildren; Caeleb, Christian, Maddie, Calvin, Allie, Wyatt, Tora, Liam, Audrey, Sean, Liam and Adelaide, two brothers, and one sister.

He was preceded in death by both parents.
