Terrie Davey

Terrie E. Davey, 59, of Louisburg, KS died April 25, 2012 in his home. He was born April 14, 1953 at Shawnee, KS the son of James and Dorothy M Tennyson Davey. He was united in marriage to Ellen "Kay" Sylva on August 9, 1986 at Paola KS. Terrie was a union laborer for 33 years with the local 1290. He believed in hard work and honesty. He saw his word as his bond and took great pride in being a union laborer. Terrie"s hobbies were fishing, hunting, playing with remote controlled toys, and he built his own home from top to bottom. He loved camping and fishing with family and friends from Truman to LaCygne Lake. He had a passion for cooking and barbecuing. He was preceded in death by his mother, one brother, son Scott and his grandparents Roy and Jaunita. Survivors include his wife Kay, of the home; one son, Jason and wife Ceshia Davey, New Orleans, Daughter, Beth Freeman, Harrisonville, MO, father, Jim Davey of Bolivar MO; four grandchildren, Dakota, Autumn, Sapphire and Anthony.
