Teri Lynne Wiggins

Teri Lynne Wiggins was born July 16th, 1955, at Ottawa, in Franklin County, Kansas. She was the daughter of Robert E. and Patricia A. (Doty) Wiggins. Ms. Wiggins had made her home at Blue Springs since 1988, until her death October 21st, 1996, at the age of forty-one years. Teri graduated from Ottawa High School with the Class of 1973. During her high school years, she was active in band and concert choir. She enjoyed listening to soft jazz and Country Western music. Foremost in Teri’s life, were her children, spending time with her family and her faith. She was a hard worker with a caring, generous nature and a cheerful greeting for everyone she met. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ottawa and the Firemen and Oilers Local Union #7 of Kansas City, Missouri. Teri was employed for over six years as lead inspector for quality control with Knit Rite Manufacturing and Distribution Inc., a prosthesis accessory manufacturer in Kansas City. Teri was united in marriage with Kenneth W. Hill. They later divorced. Surviving are her parents, Robert E. and Patricia A. Wiggins of Ottawa; a daughter, Diana R. Hill and a son, Rob W. Hill, of the home; two brothers, R. Michael Wiggins of Delray Beach, Florida and Jon P. Wiggins and his wife, Theresa of Ottawa; a nephew. Hayden M. Wiggins of Ottawa; and her paternal grandmother, Edith E. Wiggins of Ottawa. Preceding her in death are her maternal grandparents, Jay and Bessie Doty and her paternal grandfather, Virgil Wiggins. Services will be held Friday, October 25, 1996, at 2:00 PM at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa, KS. Rev. Henry Roberts, Jr. will be officiating. Burial will be at Highland on Friday, October 25, 1996. Memorials can be sent to St. Mary`s Hospital of Blue Springs, MO. PallBerers: Rob Hill, Diana Hill, Jon Wiggins, Mike Wiggins, Craig Dengel, Bud Wheeler, Mike Steele, Randy Keele. Honorary Bearers: Jack Davis, Del Hadley, Bob Robetor, Larry Maes, Walt Artinger, Robert Grabham, Harold Gahagan, Vernon Chesbro.
