Terence W. Herron

Terence (Terry) Ward Herron, age 70, of Paola, KS, passed away on Sunday, April 6th.

Terry was born on June 13th,1954 in Victorville, CA to Marge Slater and Charles Herron. He graduated from the University of Kansas and went on to a long career utilizing his mechanical engineering degree and entrepreneurial spirit.

Terry married Amy Sevy in 1984, and together they raised two children and built a life in Paola, Kansas.

Terry was known for his generosity, dedication to family, and love of all things outdoors. He enjoyed inventing and creating new innovations, as well as hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Terry is survived by his wife, Amy Herron, son, Adam Herron (Kristine), son, Seth Herron and grandchildren, August and Rose. Mother in-law Oreta Wadley (Richard) Two step-brothers, Christopher Miller, and Kelly Miller (Sonya), two nephews Sam Miller (Ciara Holstrom) Blaine Cody (Kristen) grandnephew Elias Cody, one niece Sarah Morgan (Stephanie), sister-in law Debi Anthony (Don), two nieces Elizabeth Stanchfield, Rebecca Phipps, sister in-law Sharon Davidson (Rodger) two nephews Zachary Flake, Caleb Flake, brother in-law Harold Sevy (Judy) one niece Leslie Aller and one nephew Jordan Sevy. He was preceded in death by his sister, Christine Rosner, mother, Margaret Miller, and father, Charles Herron, and niece Stephanie Knecht.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, the 15th of April at The Lighthouse Presbyterian Church, at 10:00 am followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am.
