Theodore B. Wilson age 73 of Hillsdale passed away at his home on Oct. 28. Services are Friday Oct. 30th 11:00AM at the Penwell-Gabel Paola Chapel, visitation Thursday from 6 to 8:00PM, burial Hillsdale Cemetery. In- lou of flowers contributions may be made to the Ted Wilson Memorial Fund or Hospice Care of Kansas, in care of the funeral home. Ted was born Feb. 13, 1935 in Kansas City Kansas to Theodore and Colena Rawlings Wilson. He attended and graduated from Rosedale High School in 1952 in Kansas City Kansas. On Feb. 26, 1954 he was united in marriage to Dora Lee Nicholson in Kansas City Missouri, they made their home in the Kansas City area until moving to Hillsdale in 1972. Ted was a truck driver for RL Sweets Lumber Company and later for Maurer-Neuer Company. In 1975 he went to work for Taylor Forge Manufacturing in Paola until he retired in 1998. He was a member of Boilermakers, Local #84. Ted enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Joyce Hamm and Lily Ann Keimig, two granddaughters, Stephanie Querry and Kalie Wilson, two grandsons Wyatt, and Jessie DeGrande. Survivors are his wife Dora Lee of the home, daughters Terry and husband Carl DeGrande and Robbin Rueckert of Paola, three sons, Tony Wilson , Gregg and wife Staci Wilson of Paola , Nick and wife Lori Wilson of Portland Oregon, three sisters, Peggy Turney and Susan Dunaway and husband Bob of Paola, and Gloria Gray and husband Tom of Overland Park , and one brother Carl Wilson and wife Faye of Cadmus, 15 grandchildren and 2 great grand children. He will be greatly missed by family and friends
