Tad Rydell Clark

Tad Rydell Clark was born on Wednesday, June 23, 1965, in Garnett, Kansas. He was the son of John Clark and Wilma (Cook) Clark-Bartlett. A lifelong resident of Franklin County, Kansas, Tad moved to Gardner, in Johnson County, Kansas, from Ottawa one year ago, where he made his home until his death on Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at the age of forty-one years. Tad graduated from Central Heights High School with the class of 1983. He was a food emulsifier/stabilizer, employed by Danisco, Inc., in New Century, Kansas, as a spray operator for seven years. He appreciated the outdoors. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing softball with his friends. Tad's greatest enjoyment came from his family. Their family gatherings were so important to him. On August 25, 2001, Tad was united in marriage with Rabecca Christensen in Ottawa. She survives of their home. He was previously married to Bobbie Bays. They were later divorced. Tad is also survived by his mother and stepfather, Wilma and Russ Bartlett of Mesa, Arizona; three sons, Lonny Clark of Ottawa, Kansas, Nick Clark of Eveleth, Minnesota, Dallas Clark of the home; daughter, Ashia Clark of Eveleth, Minnesota; stepdaughter, Brooke Christensen of the home; sister and brother-in-law, Penny and Jos' Casillas of Blackwell, Oklahoma; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Monte and Venus Clark of Ottawa, Kansas, Toby and Tracey Clark of Richmond, Kansas; and granddaughter, Elle Bowden of Wellsville, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his father, John Clark, and half-brother, Rodney Lee Latimer. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2007. IN STATE: Family will meet with friends from 7 to 8:00 Friday evening at the mortuary. CEMETERY: Richmond Cemetery in Richmond, Kansas. MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorials to Midland Hospice, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
