Susan Marie Wahl was born October 28, 1958, at Anthony, Kansas. She was the daughter of Victor T. and Betty M. (Smith) Coyne. In June of 1993, Susan moved to Ottawa, Kansas. In 2001, she moved to Richmond, in Franklin County, Kansas, where she made her home until her death Thursday, September 5, 2002, at the age of forty-three years. Susan graduated from Oklahoma City High School with the class of 1976. She was a lifelong homemaker. She was a very active member of Living Way Apostolic Church in Ottawa. She was leader of the Ladies Auxiliary, taught Sunday School, and helped with fund raisers, banquets and pot lucks. In her spare time, she created beautiful crocheted and craft items which will be cherished by her family and friends. She was also very talented in calligraphy. Susan's greatest joy, however, came from her family and grandchildren and spending time with them. On October 11, 1980, Susan was united in marriage with Robert L. Wahl at Enid, Oklahoma. He survives of their home. Also, surviving are her daughter, Traci Long and her husband, Sheldon, of Ottawa; son, Matthew Wahl and his wife, Christy, of Westlake, Louisiana; brother, Tom Coyne and his wife, Cindy, of Licking, Missouri; mother-in-law, Sara Wahl of Enid, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Caylee Morgan Long; and, grandson, Londyn Kade Wahl. She is preceded in death by her parents. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from Living Way Apostolic Church at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 9, 2002. OFFICIATING CLERGY: Pastor Robert Bell. IN STATE: Mrs. Wahl will lie in state at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 1:00 p.m. Saturday to the service hour, where the family will meet with friends 5 to 6:00 Sunday evening. CEMETERY: Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, Kansas. MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorials to Living Way Apostolic Church or Franklin County Cancer Foundation, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S.
