Stephanie Ruth Ingram, 60, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022, at The University of Kansas Health System.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa.
The family will meet with friends from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday, November 28, 2022, at the mortuary.
Interment Highland Cemetery, Ottawa.
Stephanie was born May 16, 1962, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Harold Edwin and Shirley Ruth (Dobbs) Free.
She grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma before moving in 1980 to Ottawa.
On May 24, 1980, Stephanie was united in marriage to Tony Ingram at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They later divorced.
Stephanie was a devoted mother and homemaker and worked several local service jobs. She loved her family dearly and the time they spent together. She was known as “mom to many” and loved watching her family, grandkids, and extended families sporting events and activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Steven Dale Free.
Survivors include her four children, Thomas A. Ingram of Ottawa, Candice R. Gragg of Yukon, Oklahoma, Anthony L. Ingram of Ottawa, and Justin A. Ingram also of Ottawa; four siblings, Wesley Free of Mcalester, Oklahoma, Kevin Free of Rantoul, Kansas, Craig Free and wife Linda of San Diego, California, and Darin Free and wife Heather of Lexington, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Courtney, Rayann, Kristen, Katie, Kara, Thomas Jr., and Isabella; and a great-granddaughter Braelin.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Ingram Grandchildren’s Educational Fund c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
