Stella Hunter

Stella Louise Hunter, age 78, of rural Paola, Kansas passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at her home surrounded by loved ones. A Celebration of Life is planned at the Paola Eagles on November 7th at 6pm. Flowers may be sent to the home 32985 Victory Rd. Paola, Kansas 66071. She was born June 8, 1942 at McAllister, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Jasper and Alice (Short) Blevins. Stella and Fred Hunter were married April 8, 1982 at Paola, Kansas. She worked as an assembler with General Motors for 30 years. Preceding her in death were her parents, two sisters Della May Blevins and Ima Jane Little, and one brother Robert Morrow Sr. She is survived by her husband Fred of the home; two daughters Sandra Stevenson of Kansas City, Kansas and Donna Young of Paola; one son Dennis Young of Osawatomie; one step-daughter Lisa Ann Hunter of Las Vegas, NV; one sister Clyda Lee Atkins of McAllister, OK; one brother Woodrow Blevins of McAllister, OK; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
