Stacy Crawford

Stacy Crawford, 43, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016. Family will meet with friends at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Dengel & Son Mortuary and process to a graveside service at 2:00 P.M. at Highland Cemetery. Stacy was born Sunday, January 28, 1973, in Ottawa, the daughter of Bob and Leah (Owen) Crawford. She was a lifelong Ottawa resident. She graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1991. Survivors include her son, Tayler Sitlington of the home; parents, Bob and Leah Crawford of Ottawa; brother, Roger Crawford of Melvern; best friend since birth and like a sister, Tami Phares-Gutierrez of Ottawa; three aunts, Susan Goracke of Ottawa, Carol Bulmer and husband Russell of Ottawa, and Janice Stoltenow of Lebanon, Missouri; uncle, Larry Owen and wife Barb of Ottawa; niece, Bree Crawford of Topeka; nephew, Brody Crawford of Topeka; her son Tayler’s siblings, Blake Sitlington, Nina Sitlington, Leah Sitlington, Megan Sitlington, and Hailey Sitlington; and many close cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bus and Marian Crawford; maternal grandparents, Larry Owen Sr., and Geraldine (Moore); and uncle, Jim Goracke. Stacy was a supervisor at General Dynamics in Lawrence for 3 years. She was a member of Aerie Lodge 2700, Fraternal Order of Eagles. Stacy enjoyed traveling with her son, family and best friend Tami.
