Shirley L. Mickelboro

Shirley A, Mickelboro, age 74, of Louisburg, KS passed away on March 1, 2017 at Life Care Nursing Home in Osawatomie, KS. She was born October 10, 1942, the daughter of Michael John and Frances Irene (Conner) Shay, Sr. She was married to Earl Mickelboro on September 3, 1983. He was the love of her life. He preceded her in death in May of 2008. Shirley worked in the Deli Department at Dillon"s Grocery Store before retiring. She was an avid reader and enjoyed going to Church and Bible Study. She taught Sunday school and Awanas for many years at church. Her greatest joy was being around people and visiting with her many friends that she made in Louisburg and while at the nursing home. Shirley's wishes were to be cremated and buried next to her husband Earl in the Louisburg Cemetery.
