Shirley Ann Hurt

Shirley Ann (Franck) Hurt, age 88 of Kirksville, MO, passed away February, 19, 2016 at the Northeast Regional Medical Center, Kirksville. She was born April 4, 1927 in Ladue, MO the daughter of Charles Byron and Essie Fyrn Stephens Franck Shirley loved making quilts and doing crossword puzzles. Anyone that knew her loved her. She was such a sweet and warm lady. She would do anything for anyone if asked and sometimes if she wasn't asked if she knew it needed to be done. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles, three sisters, Wilma, Elaine and Evelyn, one son, Gregory, one granddaughter, Katy, and one great grandson, Levi. She is survived by one sister, Pat Sisk, one daughter, Melody (Foster)Hagar, and husband Jim, one son, Ronald Kent and wife Karen, two Stepdaughters, Barb Hurt and Bev Garrett, nine grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and a whole Louisburg community of friends, adopted children and grandchildren that her and Charlie loved to make quilts for.
