Sheri Ruth Lothert

Sheri Lothert, 42, of Topeka, Kansas, formerly of Ottawa, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 7, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 13, 2015, at the Faith Lutheran Church, 1320 W. 15th Street, Ottawa. Family will meet with friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 12, 2015, at Dengel & Son Mortuary. Private family burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Pomona, Kansas. Sheri was born Monday, July 31, 1972, in Grand Prairie, Texas, the daughter of Lloyd and Linda (Moore) Vogh. Sheri has lived in Topeka since 2010, moving from Ottawa and Franklin County where she lived for many years. Survivors include her two daughters, Morgan and Brianne Lothert of Topeka; parents, Lloyd and Linda Vogh of Pomona; brother, Alan Vogh of Pomona; one nephew and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Sheri worked for Dream Catchers in Topeka, as a case manager for handicapped adults for the last 3 years. She was previously employed with Ottawa USD 290 and West Franklin USD 287, as a paraprofessional, for many years. She was a former member of Faith Lutheran Church in Ottawa. Sheri will be remembered for her love of family and their time spent together. She loved her horses, scrapbooking and dancing. She will be deeply missed and remain in the hearts and thoughts of her family and friends forever.
