Sharon Kay Burgoon, age 63, of Ottawa, Kansas, died Monday, July 26, 2010. She was born on Sunday, September 15, 1946, in Garnett, Kansas. She was the daughter of Charles Francis and Edna Irene (Rommelfanger) Renzenberger. She lived in Nevada, Missouri, Ft. Scott and Pratt, Kansas, prior to moving to Ottawa in 1986. Sharon graduated from Greeley High School with the class of 1964. She was a secretary for Sprint, retiring in 1998. She had previously worked at J. C. Penney Co. and R & R Industries in Pratt, Kansas, and Gibson’s in Ottawa. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Ottawa. On Saturday, November 6, 1965, Sharon was united in marriage with William “Bill” Burgoon, Sr. at St. John the Baptist Church in Greeley, Kansas. He survives of their home. She is survived by her: Husband-Bill Burgoon of the home Mother-Edna Irene Renzenberger of Ottawa, KS; Son-William David Burgoon, Jr. of Ottawa, KS; Daughter-Stacy Christine Burgoon of Ottawa, KS; Sister-Carol J. Cover and her husband, Jim, of Ottawa, KS; Sister-Mary L. Pruitt and her husband, Micheal, of Michigan Valley, KS; Brother-William F. Renzenberger of Lenexa, KS; Sister-in-law-Pam Mitchell of Ottawa, KS; Sister-in-law-Pat Gorton of Ottawa, KS and Many Nieces & Nephews she is preceded in death by her: Father-Charles Francis Renzenberger and a Niece-Gaylene Mitchell SERVICES: A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Sacred Heart Church in Ottawa. IN STATE: Mrs. Burgoon will lie in state at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 9:00 a.m. Friday, where a Rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. Friday, followed by family visitation from 7:00 to 8:00. CEMETERY: Sutton Cemetery, 56 Hwy., west of Baldwin Junction. MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorial contributions to Sacred Heart Church, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S.
