Sharon Ann Brady was born on Saturday, June 26, 1943, in Garnett, Kansas. She was the daughter of Nick and Odelia (Bowman) Hermreck. Sharon lived in Ottawa forty years, returning to Garnett in May of 2005, where she made her home, until her death Sunday, October 23, 2005, at the age of sixty-two years. Sharon graduated from Garnett High School with the class of 1961. She was a homemaker. In the 1970's, she worked as a seamstress for H. D. Lee and Mode O'Day, both in Ottawa. From 1984 to 1995, she owned and operated a private club in Ottawa, called The Spot. In 1997, she became employed as a cook in the kitchen for Wal-Mart Distribution in Ottawa, retiring in 2002. She was a current member of Aerie Lodge #2700, Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, of Ottawa. Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to Casino's, attending events at the V.F.W., and playing Bingo at the Eagles with her friends. She liked being outside, caring for her flowers, and fishing. Sharon was a loving, caring, strong, courageous lady with unfaltering faith and greatly admired by her family and friends.
