Sharen Lynn Elliott passed away July 20, 2015 at her home in Eureka, Kansas. Sharen was born on November 21, 1951 to Paul and Frances Debrick Elliott in Kansas City, Kansas. She grew up in Eastern Kansas and considered Paola her home town attending the local schools as well as the grade school at First Lutheran Church. She graduated in 1969 from Paola High School and later attended Research Medical Center School of Nursing receiving her Nursing Diploma in 1977. After graduation Sharen joined the United States Navy where she served as a Navy Nurse Corps officer until being honorably discharged January 10, 1990 after 11 years. After service to her country she devoted her life to her family and helping the senior citizens in the area where she lived. The love of horses and all animals led to her active participation in Animal Rescue and the local Humane Society. She remained in South Carolina after her discharge from the Navy until the decision to build her home in Eureka, Kansas where she lived until her death. She is survived by her two sons Tomas Render and Nathan Render, his wife Savannah and their daughter Atlanta all who live in Albuquerque, New Mexico; three brothers Leroy M. Elliott of Paola, Richard D. Elliott, his wife Rose of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and Gary P. Elliott, his wife Terry of Eureka, Kansas. Leroy has two sons Phillip Elliott, wife Melissa their son Devin and Justin Elliott, wife Melanie and their children Lance, Maiya, and Dawson. Richard D. Elliott, wife Rose have one daughter, Lara Hans, husband Anthony and daughter Ingrid. Gary Elliott, wife Terry have three children Michele with daughters Sydney and Shelby, Gary Elliott Jr, wife Tina with four children, Braeden, JC, Ariel, and Jacob, and Theodore E. Elliott.
