Shannon Heiman

Shannon Heiman, 60, of Pomona, Kansas, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 15, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ottawa. Interment will be held at 3:30 P.M., Friday at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Trenton, Missouri. A Rosary will be said 6:30 P.M., Thursday, January 14, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, followed by a visitation. Shannon was born Monday, January 17, 1955, in Trenton, Missouri, the daughter of Donald G. and Sandra J. (Blackburn) Jackson. Shannon was a resident of Pomona since 2002, moving from Ottawa. She graduated from Trenton High School, in Trenton, Missouri, with the class of 1973. In 1974, Shannon was united in marriage with Stephan Davidson, at Trenton, Missouri. He preceded her in death in June of 1996. On June 11, 2000, Shannon was united in marriage with Edmond “Eddie” Heiman at Beloit, Kansas. He survives of their home. Also surviving are her children, Sabrina (Davidson) Howell and her husband Matt, of Grenada, Mississippi, and Seth Davidson and his wife Julie, of Saltillo, Mississippi; step children, Karl Heiman and his wife Jamie, of David City, Nebraska, and Marsha Richardson and her husband Kevin, of Linn, Kansas; sister Sherry Taylor and her husband Tim, of Blue Springs, Missouri; mother, Sandra Jackson of Kansas City, Missouri; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her father, Donald G. Jackson. She worked in the medical billing finance department at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, from mid to late 2000’s. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and the Sacred Heart Altar Society. She enjoyed going to the casino, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
