Sarah A. Galutia

Sarah Ann Galutia, 29, of Overland Park, formerly of Ottawa, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017. Private family inurnment will be held at Highland Cemetery. Sarah was born Monday, June 20, 1988, in Lawrence, Kansas, the daughter of Brenda (Ferguson) and Dale Galutia, Jr. She lived most of her life in Ottawa. In 2015, Sarah moved to Overland Park, where she made her home until her death. She graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 2006 and continued her education at Neosho County Community College receiving her CNA nursing certificate. Survivors include her two children, Ryan and Jase; mother, Brenda and husband Lonnie; father, Dale and wife Marikay; sister, Jennifer and husband Justin, two step-sisters, Courtney and husband Joshua, and Sarah and husband Cody; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. She was employed as a caregiver with Griswold Home Care of Overland Park. Sarah loved and enjoyed being with her children, family and friends.
