Sandra Jane Heppler, age 67, of Princeton, Kansas, died Saturday, August 27, 2011. She was born on Wednesday, December 1, 1943, in Long Beach, California. She was the daughter of Willis Wade and Erma Jane (Hull) Allen. She was raised in California, moving to Kansas in 1969 to live with her aunt and uncle, and later lived in Overland Park, and Olathe before moving to the Ottawa area in 1998. Sandra graduated from Sierra High School in Tollhouse, California with the class of 1961. She worked as a Certified Medical Assistant for several years, working for Dr. Takeshi Seto in Ottawa at the time of her retirement in June of 2006. Sandra was a member of West Lenexa Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lenexa, Kansas and former member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Ottawa. On Friday, February 11, 1977, Sandra was united in marriage with James W. Heppler in Overland Park, Kansas. He survives of their home. Sandra is survived by her Husband-James W. “Jim” Heppler of their home Mother-in-law-Annabelle Heppler of Atchison, Kansas Daughter-Jenene Harris and her husband, Victor, of Shawnee, Kansas Son-Steven Traylor and his wife, Rachel, of Olathe, Kansas Son-Peter Heppler and his wife, Carrie, of Ottawa, Kansas Son-Raymond Heppler and his wife, Mary Alice, of Osawatomie, Kansas Brother-Kenneth Allen of Clovis, California Sister-Carolyn Plante of Modesto, California Grandchildren-Nineteen Gt.Grandchildren-Four She is preceded in death by her Parents-Willis Wade and Erma Jane Allen Daughter-Tanya Clayton SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2011. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Heppler from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Dengel & Son Mortuary, where the family will meet with friends 7:00 to 8:00 Wednesday evening. The casket will remain closed. CEMETERY: Princeton Cemetery in Princeton, Kansas.
