Rose Ann Gregg, 87, passed away on April 3, 2024 in Harrisonville, Missouri. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and devoted wife.
Rose Ann was born 3/08/1937 in Wellsville, Kansas to John David (JD) and Ruby Blanche McConnell. She grew up on a farm in Paola, Kansas. She married the love of her life, Bobby A Gregg, on 11/25/1953. Bob and Rose Ann made their home in Paola, Kansas until retirement. They moved to Sun City West, Arizona in 1996. Rose Ann moved back to the Midwest in 2017.
She is survived by her daughters Debbie Lowe and husband Rick, and Pam Cochran and husband Marv of Harrisonville, Missouri. Grandchildren are Brent Lowe, Kamryn Tuesday Lowe, Amanda Audo and husband Anthony of Royse City, Texas. Great grandchildren are Madeline Audo and Amelia Audo. She is survived by several cousins, sister-in-law Joyce Lile, and other dear friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, brother Walter Lile, daughter Janice Gregg, and grandson Rodney Bryant.
Rose Ann worked for Asher’s Pharmacy on the Paola Square. She embroidered quilts and linens, enjoyed reading, traveling the U.S., and playing games in which she usually won. She took pride in keeping a tidy and neat home. She enjoyed watching sporting events and was a Chiefs and KU fan. Rose showed her strength as she fought cancer and a stroke in her later years. She was a member of the Paola United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers make contributions to the church in her name.
Graveside services will be held at the Wellsville Cemetery in Wellsville, Kansas on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
