Roger Dean Kreusch, Sr.

Roger Dean Kreusch, Sr., age 56, of Quenemo, Kansas, died Friday, August 26, 2011, at Stormont-Vail Regional Medical Center in Topeka, Kansas. He was born on Saturday, May 14, 1955, in Ottawa, Kansas. He was the son of John Jacob “Jack” and Mildred L. “Louise” (Lyman) Kreusch. He was a lifelong resident of the Ottawa area, except for living in rural Quenemo the past five years. He was a long time truck driver for several local companies including Killough Construction, Wade Mace Trucking, and Wise Trucking of Gardner. From 2009 to present, he was employed with Junction Township of Osage County in road maintenance. On August 25, 2007, Roger was united in marriage with Diana Cummings in Ottawa, Kansas. She survives of their home. Roger is survived by his Wife-Diana Kreusch of the home Son-Roger D. Kreusch, Jr. of Ottawa, Kansas Son-Craig Kreusch and his companion, Sherelle McCarley, of Paola, Kansas Daughter-Denise Robinson and her husband, Corey, of Burlington, Kansas Daughter-Deanna Cummings of Pomona, Kansas Daughter-Dawn Cummings of Quenemo, Kansas Daughter-December Cummings of the home Sister-Carolyn Cramer of Pomona, Kansas Sister-Pearl Martin of Pomona, Kansas Brother-Pete Martin of Kansas City, Kansas Sister-Jean Thompson and her husband, Terry, of Ottawa, Kansas Grandchildren (5)-Bryce Robinson; Nathan Kreusch; Lexie Kreusch; Sheila Kreusch; Tori Kreusch He is preceded in death by his Parents-Jack and Louise Kreusch Brother-John Richardson SERVICES: Graveside services will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Pomona at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2011. IN STATE: Mr. Kreusch will lie in state at the Dengel & Son Mortuary from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, where the family will meet with friends 7:00 to 8:00 Tuesday evening.
