Roger Allen Grauel

Roger Allen Grauel, age 72, of Lenexa, formerly of Paola, Kansas passed away at his home surrounded by family on June 2, 2015. Roger was born to Ervin and Eleanor Orr Grauel on October 11, 1942 in Paola, Kansas. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Weaver on June 16, 1962 in Paola, Kansas. He was a truck driver for the dairy business most of his adult life. Roger enjoyed family gatherings, fishing hunting, boating and camping with friends and family. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife after retirement. He was an avid fan of the Chiefs, NASCAR and KU basketball. Roger was the biggest fan at his kids cross country and track and field meets. Roger was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, of the home; his sons Jerry (Jeannie), Rick (Lorinda), and David (Christi) Grauel; his sisters Shirley Kohlenberg, Carole Cauthon, Brenda Parscale, Carla Russell, and Melody Cooper; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to KC Hospice and Palliative Care in care of the funeral home.
